There are three methods to delete a link between a variant and a product:
By importing a variants file without links to a product:
Leave the document_code column empty
During the import, select Replace in the Empty cell action dropdown list.
Advice: The variants file can be obtained via a profile created by an administrator,or a one-time export of variants from the product page or the export platform.
By manually disassociating a variant from its product in the interface:
Go to the ‘Variants’ tab on the product page and click the ‘Unlink’ button.

Variants that have been dissociated from their original product can be linked to another product by searching for orphan variants via the advanced search page or the ‘Variants’ tab on the product page:
