The PIM or DAM classification tree could perfectly match with what you'd like to display on the portal, but you would also like to filter the content or make modifications without altering the original classification on your brand portal.
We explain you how to do it !

  1. In Data flows < Start an export menu, launch a classification export of all channels or just the one you're interested in:

  2. Delete useless lines

  3. Replace classification_parent_code of the original channel with the channel code (in blue)

  4. Modify classification_code, using a prefix for example (in red)

  5. Modify classifications names (quable_classification_name(xx_XX) ) if needed

  6. Reimport the file from the menu Data flows < Start an import.

  7. If you use dynamic searches to feed your channel, you can create a search each last level. (Example: if your classification has 5 levels, you will create searches only for 5th levels).
You can also add one or several additional criteria such as completeness or tags.
