Creating an export profile enables setting up a reusable template for:

  • A specific object type (channel, classification, document, link, list of values, assets, or variants)

  • A specific data language (from the available data languages set by the administrator), with or without inheritance

  • An export file format (CSV or XLSX)

  • An attribute mapping, including their order and names in the export file.

Can it be scheduled?

An export profile also enables creating a recurring and automatic schedule via a chrontab. The frequency and the destination server are customized in the Quable PIM interface.

What will be exported?

All data corresponding to profile settings will be exported. Only filters set in the profile will be available.

Is it possible to reimport data easily?

Yes if the mapping retains the attribute codes, then you'll be able to modify the file and reimport it. Be careful, there's a risk of overwriting data if modifications have been made between exporting and re-importing.
