Do you frequently perform the same import and you'd like to create an import profile?

Keep reading and we'll explain how to do it!

  1. From the Data flow menu, open the Profiles page.

  2. Click on the Create a profile button.

  3. Complete the profile identity information:

    • Name

    • Description

    • Object type

    • Document type

    • Languages

    • Empty cell action: You can Ignore empty cells or Replace the existing value with empty cells from the import file.

  4. Next, select the format of the import file:

    • standard or custom CSV:

    • XLSX (if the file is less than 10Mo)

  5. If you want all data for the selected document type imported, you can move on to Step 6. If the file to import doesn't contain all attributes or if its columns are different from the attributes codes in your Quable PIM, mapping will be necessary. You can:

    1. Drag and drop attributes in the desired order of appearance:

    2. Modify columns names (if necessary).

  6. Finally, click the Create button. The profile is immediately added to the list on the Profiles page.

  7. From the Profiles page, you'll be able to modify the profile, download an import template, or launch an import.
