How to make a one-time import?

Want to perform a one-time import which does not require creating a profile?

Keep reading and we'll explain how!

  1. In the Data flow menu, open the Start an import page.

  2. Enter the import identity information:

    • Object type

    • Document type

    • Language

    • Empty cell action: ignore empty cells or replace the existing value with empty cells from the file.

  3. Select the format:

    • standard or custom CSV:

    • XLSX (if the file is less than 10Mo)

  4. Indicate if the file to import is stored locally or if it's remote (external server).

    and import the file:

  5. If the file to import doesn't contain all attributes or if its columns are different from the attribute codes in your Quable PIM, mapping will be necessary. You can drag and drop attributes in the desired order of appearance:

  6. Modify column names if necessary:

  7. Then you'll be able to import data or analyze the file before importing.

    Advice: For select attributes, we remind you to verify that you have imported their codes in the locale(s) of the import, and not their values.
