With Quable, your data model is not fixed: you can add, delete and modify fields at any time. We understand that a product repository is always evolving.
Let's look at how to customize your Quable PIM!
Advice n°1: Before starting, verify (in your Profile) if your interface language. Interface language drives attributes names.
- In the Administration menu, click on Objects and attributes.
- Select the Type of object (2a) and type of document (2b):

- Chose the data model hierarchy level where you'd like to add the new attribute (3.a), and click on the + button (3.b):

- Complete the New attribute form on the right:
 - Enter the attribute's Name.
- Clicking in the Code cell generates it automatically or you can enter a code which suits you.
- The Description is optional. It provides information about the attribute, especially to administrators.
- The Help text is also optional. It will be displayed on documents to users when the cursors hovers over the question mark:

- Select the attribute's Type.
- Select one or more attribute sets containing this attribute. By default if no attribute set is selected, the attribute is visible for all attribute sets.
 - Advice n°2: For list of values, the data language, (located at the top right of the screen) is used. Verify it's convenient before saving. - Advice n°3: Once the attribute is saved, you won't be able to modify its type. Consult the related documentation before creating the attribute.
- Then select what's relevant:
 - - Main data to display the attribute on the top panel of your document:

 - Filterable to display the attribute in the advanced search filters

 - Visible to display the attribute in the document

 - Editable to allow the modification of the attribute from the interface. (the attribute must be visible)
- Finally, click the Apply button. Your attribute has been created!
Advice n°4: To translate these attributes, you'll just have to change the interface language in your profile and complete the translations and save.
Advice n°5: A data model modification is never insignificant. We kindly advise you to communicate the change to people or systems which could be impacted.
