By brand, by season, by type, or by target, you have control over the classification of your products (also called hierarchy, tree structure, categories, or catalog) in your Quable PIM. As soon as your administrator gives you the rights, you can manage this classification freely by creating levels and sublevels.

Let's look at how to do it:

  1. In the Data menu, click on Documents.

  2. Select the classification you want to modify from the hierarchy in the PIM panel on the left. If the central panel contains classifications, you can also click on them to navigate.

  3. Next, click on the Add button and select Classification:

Advice n°1: If a classification level is empty, you'll be able to create a new classification or a new document. Document is the term used by Quable for references, whether it is about products, brands, or anything else that has been configured in the data model.

Advice n°2: If documents already exist in a classification level, you'll only be able to create a document. Example: If documents are created at the third level, classifications could be added at the first and second levels only.

  4. A dialog with basic creation information is displayed. Complete the information and click on Add:

Advice n°3: The classification code is unique and generated automatically, however you can modify it if necessary.

  5. Here we go! The new classification level is created! You can modify its name and add an image. To do so, select the new classification, and click the Edit icon (pencil):

Finally, from the Edit menu, modify the classification name (if necessary) or add an image from the Asset menu.

When you're done, click the Apply button:
