In order to generate efficient collaboration in the enrichment of your products, Quable PIM has implemented a task management system that allows users to inform individuals or a group of their collaborators about the work that need to be performed.
You can create and assign tasks from the Tasks page (via the dashboard) and/or the Tasks tab (in a product).
From the Tasks page on the dashboard.
Click the ‘Tasks’ button on the dashboard.
Next, click on the ‘New task’ button.
A window will open, and you will then be able to set the following task details:
Object (the topic of the task).
Link a product (optional).
Category (Select a task category).
Assigned to (Select the user or role responsible for managing the task).
Urgent (task priority level (Normal or Urgent)).
Message (additional comments optional).
Once you have entered all the information, click the Create button to assign the task, or the Cancel button to cancel the task creation.
From the ‘Tasks’ tab on the product details page.
Click on the ‘Tasks’ tab on the product details page, then click ‘New task’.
A window similar to the one in Section 1 will open, and you can then define the task details. The only difference here is that the ‘Link a product’ field will no longer appear, as the task is automatically linked to the product you are currently viewing.
The recipient(s) (users) will receive a notification about the task both within the Quable PIM interface and by email. They will be able to respond to the task and carry out the requested actions.
The recipient(s) (roles) will receive a notification about the task only within the Quable PIM interface. They will be able to respond to the task and carry out the requested actions.
The assigned task can be tracked and accessed from the:
Tasks page;
Tasks tab in a product page;
Task Tracker widget on the recipient's dashboard.
The different stages of a task's evolution can be tracked by color codes and notifications until the task is closed as completed.
