Your data model has several levels and you'd like to know how to import your data? We explain you how to do it!

If it's your first import, we advice you to read the documentation Initial Data Imports before starting.

  1. Use an import profile or a document export corresponding to your Reference in advance, in which you will at least have the columns:

    • document_code* (unique)

    • classification_code* (optional, it enables to store your document in a classification, if the information is not completed the document will be orphan)

    • reference_name (xx_XX)* in the locale(s) of your choice

  2. Import your file from Data flows<Start an import menu

  3. Do the operations 1 and 2 for the document type which corresponds to your Color Reference.

  4. At this stage, your Reference and your Color Reference are imported in the PIM, however they are not linked. You can link them manually or using an import file, with at least:

    • source_code*: corresponds to the document_code of the Reference

    • target_code*: corresponds to the document_code of the Color Reference

  5. To import the Variant, use a variants import profile in which you will at least contain the columns:

    • document_code* : corresponds to the document_code of the Color Reference

    • sku_code* (unique)

*Names can change if a mapping has been used.
